Land of my (Grand)Father - Part 2

We are off again in the motorhome tomorrow…..returning to Wales.  I think we missed a bit of it last year, so we are going back again.

Coronavirus has been causing issues since our trip to Wales last year but we have now had our first vaccine and things are looking up!  We have already been away in the van this year.  We were out and about in April and we visited Yorkshire for a week, then St Albans for a week and had a third week travelling back via Bristol, Bridgnorth and Cheshire.  We have also gained another grandchild since last year.  Janice’s daughter had her second child (Lily) and she is beautiful and doing fine.  Janice’s son and partner are expecting a baby too!  Coronavirus lockdowns must be affecting her family in a very specific way!

We have also rejoined the National Trust so we can start to have a few cultural visits….as long as they aren’t associated with slavery!  You can’t beat a bit of virtue signalling and I wouldn’t like any of my readers to ‘cancel’ me!

So, I hope you are still up for reading the blog.  Where we end up could be interesting.
